    COPY THAT! lol

I'm rewatching S-7 right now. I wanted to study Renee's character. She slapped Jack across the face. Hard and twice. "Feel that Jack?"

What the hell? Now, we find out she was carrying some baggage around with her. Not the "little-goody-two-shoes' we were lead to believe. lol

Why is there such an popular opinion that only first four episodes were good? I think that episodes 1-10 were good and some between after.
But I liked Jack as he was in the start of the season and also tension and everything. He really looked like an badass who is not the same anymore and start of the season kinda reminded me of old season with all the tension and everything. Seemed like they wanted to go back to 24 roots. Too bad that it didn't succeed.

I thought it did. Maybe I am in the minority, but Season 7 revamped my rankings list

Whoops sorry I thought this was season 6 impressions thread. Kinda dumb mistake yeah.
For Season 7 it was perfect.
My favorite seasons now in order:
    2/3
    1/7
    4/6
    5

That / means that these seasons are both the same guality. Seasons 2 and 3 are the ones which I consider Golden age of 24 (I started with season 2 so maybe that's the reason).

Ive now fired up S7. About to watch it for the first time since it originally aired.
The first three are in the books.
I can already tell that Taylors turn in S8 was extremely dramatic. great move to send a message by dropping out of the Emmy race.
Im also reliving what I loved and hated about Moss. What a great dynamic there
I'll re rank at the end of this run, but as of now, I still have S7 in front of S8.

Finished up again, and to correct the above, this was my third re watch of S-7
I really appreciate the Moss character more and more as time goes on.
There arent enough words for me to describe the interaction between Jack and Tony this season.
The subtle glances and nonverbal communication was outstanding. Carlos portrayed Tony as soo calm and cool under any circumstance; he was so distanced from the old Tony that now, only his endgame mattered. That was the only emotion he had left and he played it perfectly.
Jack and Tony work so well together when they have a common goal, but as I noted before, they also keep each other at arms length. There is that feeling that they know when the time has come to rely on each other and they are truly friends. But also, they realize when it is time to study each other as enemies.
I was not a fan initially of bringing Tony back, but no way this story would have worked with anyone else at all. Never.
Tony's final scene was well done, screaming the truth at Jack, who knew it all too well.
Jack's address to Renee really allowed us in to his reasoning for what he does. His heart simply wont allow him to accept loss of innocent life when he could have done something to stop it.
    Brilliant.

I do have one question about a plot hole for me; where did Tony's sidekick get that last canister from when he evaded the Starkwood raid?

And finally, "You sir, are weak!! Unwilling and unable to look evil in the eye and deal with it!"

    ;)

That line..."You sir...are weak" gave us so much insight into the character, Jack Bauer. When we look for an explanation as to "why" Jack does, what he does, it all comes back to that line.

This is why, I was so intrigued by the character. We had to figure out, who he was. Each season became a page in a book, which revealed a little more about him. He put no value on his own life and was willing to sacrifice it for the greater good of the country.

I feel a little cheated and very disappointed that the show ended...because there was a lot more to learn about this man.

I hate that its over too, but really, it was time. I mean the team was obviously struggling with stories, so yeah, put it away and give us the flick and were done.
So, any idea on that canister I mentioned above? lol I cant figure it out.
