Yesterday, I read in TV Magazine a quote from Kiefer Sutherland.

Here is the quote: As long as the show is running on TV, there will be no
    "24" -movie in cinemas.

Does Kiefer has the final say on this? I don't know!

Ive seen an interview with Kiefer on youtube a while ago (cant remember what interview) about the movie, and he does say there will be a movie, he would love to do it but only once the show is over. They did start talking and even writing the script for the movie but i guess they're putting it on hold to one side for now.!!

I have been following all the Kiefer interviews. Season Eight will be the last of "24" on TV. Immediately following the end of the series, the movie will be made. Kim Raver and Elisha are already signed to star with Kiefer.

But.....who knows? I never expected Jon Cassar to hand in his resignation and will not direct Season Eight. He made the statement..."Jack Bauer will never die on the TV series".

They love to keep us guessing. But I do believe...the movie will come after the series ends.

Hit TV series 24 will relocate to Europe when the show is transformed for the big screen, according to its star Kiefer Sutherland. version of 24 is not far off - and believes producers want to set the action in Britain and mainland Europe.

Sutherland admits TV bosses wanted to produce a whole season of the show outside the US - but it's more practical to shoot a one-off film abroad.

He says, "It’s something that we’ve always talked about because I think the fantastic thing about Europe, for something like 24 is that it’s very feasible to get from Prague to London in the course of a day.

"It’s just a question of when we’re actually going to make the movie."
