Unfortunately not. Can't really afford it plus i work through the week and weekends, would be hard to find the time to go there. I was invited to go down to Anfield with my ex (who got me into LPool), but because of work and it being short notice i couldn't make it....was gutted! Its something I have always wanted to do tho, even when I didn't support LPool, have been made to watch football since I was little, dad used to watch every match no matter who was playing.

Ooh, fighting talk from the league leaders support troops. If Liverpool can play like we know they can, ie beating Chelsea and Barcelone, and United play like we know they can, ie scraping through games... then we're in for an exciting game.

I want a draw at worst, but a win for the Reds (of the Mersey) is vital. :p

but its a pride game for both clubs and Liverpool know they cant win the title, but they are looking at next seasons champions league place secured, if united win tommorow, Arsenal have a chance of catching...but with all there suspensions at the moment...who knows what they're next few games will go like, no Henry playing tommorow!

I dont think losing tomorrow is a huge concern for United in terms of the title race, but like you said, its the big English Derby game, both teams will be going for the win! Liverpool dont want to lose on their home soil again to you and you dont want the Pool to think they're getting back on form... so it'll be a dirty game from the Man U hackers and slashers! :mad:

It was typical Liverpool, good atmosphere from the fans, good possession of the ball from the team... but just no end product. I thought we were turning that corner with good wins against Chelsea and Barcelona but we still cant get one over United, argh.

It was typical stuff from United as well. Just steal it at the very death of the game - its what you did when you couldnt stop winning in the nineties and its what you've ben returning to once again this season. I think even though Chelsea can reduce it to six points with their games in hand, its got to be Man U's title to lose now surely.

Aye, I was hoping to sneak in and make a comment/ summary of the game and get away before you caught me seeing as you said you would be out.

It was a pity that Liverpool didnt just know what to do to get a clear chance on goal, its a problem we always seem to have against the big teams and those that just defend. Bellamy was having a fair bit of joy against Vidic and Evra, its a pity he was taken off. Maybe Benitez should have just gone for a 4-3-3 and brought Crouch on for Sissoko instead of throwing Pennant in for Bellamy? Hard to say if it would have turned out any different, but even still.

You're probably right about the singing lol. It was nice and lively at the end of the second half, then we got out of the blocks quickest in the second half and after a while... it all just died out I suppose. No cutting edge in the attacking third. After United scored there was a sort of muted and dejected rendition of you'll never walk alone though.

Bah, I hope we can pick ourselves up for Tuesday!
