was reading an article about this.
It was due to start filming this year after day 6 but due to the writers overload it was put back to after day 7.
Since read that the initial part of day 7 has been scrapped & going to be re written, dont know how true this is but it must be delaying film production even more.

is this in the right section the 24 movie ?
only saying because the topic is about kiefer in another movie, not the 24 movie

we all know they wont start filming the movie till season 7 ends

So is it going to be real time? That would only give the movie 2, maybe 2.5 hours for anything to happen.

RetiredZimon

lol its not going to be in real time. its going to take place over 24 hours.

soo if the movie starts after season 7, does that mean that season 7 will be the last season?...:crying:...well, at least Mary Lynn will be in it...

The movie will not be touched until the series has finished. Also reports say that the first hour will NOT be in real-time but the second hour will.

teroriztah
08-06-2007, 03:40 AM

Op_Nightfall

It wil be easy enough to cram 23 Hours into an hour and still keep the "24" theme to the film, but the second hour will be a climatic hour, possibly a countdown to something? Be sure though that the second hour will have us on the edge of our seats.

if thats the case i think i would hate, y not make it 3 hours???

Op_Nightfall
08-10-2007, 12:39 PM
Why should they make it 3 hours when they already have planned it out for 2?

FrankFlynn

3 hours would be better if the last hour is real time

teroriztah
08-13-2007, 03:14 AM
u mean 23 hours in the first hour?? r u kiddin??? awful!!!

RetiredZimon
08-13-2007, 11:01 AM
yeah that would be stupid, they would have to keep the time constant throughout, like 12 hours for every hour if the film is two hours long.

Jorja White
08-16-2007, 08:42 AM
i think that the movie should be 24 hours long and we can all sleepover at the movie theaters! i would do it!!

FrankFlynn
08-16-2007, 11:07 AM
THey should make 8 3 hour films

Jorja White
08-16-2007, 11:08 AM
yeah! but they would all have to come out on the same day

RetiredZimon
08-16-2007, 11:46 AM
no, no they shouldnt.

the gap inbetween their release would be too long, it takes at least a year to make a film, thats 8 years. i would rather have 8 more seasons that 1 8 part long movie.

*points* it was Franky Kins' idea.....
