Who do you think had the best organisations as on screen villains

i said marwan's at first, but i'm probably distracted by the fact he himself lasted so long that season

While I did vote for Marwans to be the best terrorist group I was leaning a bit towards both the Salazars & Stephen Saunders Organization, as well as Bierko's Organization. My reason for this is these three factions were targeting civilians to force the governments hand which makes the show all the more dramatic and compelling. The other factions were more prone to attacking the government directly, which is also good for the shows intensity.

that is 1 thing about Marwan

he lasted all season long, unlike previous seasons where a new Villain comes into play in the last half of the show

I must say the Drazens were well organised.

correct Marwan was amazing in how he was the first villain that lasted all day

i think the Drazens in season 1 had a very good and well organised plan, it very nearly worked as well

The Salazars were good but they were drug dealers not terrorists
they did have a well organised gang though

I found it hard to choose as many of them were all pretty good...they all have thier pluses and minuses but I stuck with Gaines, the Drazens, Bierko and Stephen Saunders

Either Kingsley's or Drazen's. It always seemed more evil with the Drazen's because with the others- it's a cause or just business - with them it was personal.

I voted for everyone from Seasons 1-4. They were all terrific. But I thought that the Gaines and Drazens from Season 1 were the best, because it was personal. The Salazars were good, but they were drug dealers and not actual terrorists. I really enjoyed the Kingsley group and Saunders group from Seasons 2 and 3.

I can't really remember Second Wave and the McClennan-Forrester groups. It's been months since I've watched Seasons 2 and 4. But I think Second Wave had something to do with Jack's plane being shot down, IIRC.

I like the sort of hierachy thing, and maybe that's why I didn't enjoy Season 4 so much, because it was just Marwan for the whole season. But season 1 was an excellent example as each villain slowly came in to the picture: Kevin Carroll, Ira Gaines, Andre Drazen, Alexis Drazen, Victor Drazen. I liked Bierko's organization and if by Henderson's you mean the whole conspiracy (again a hierachy thing with Spenser Wolf, Walt Cummings, James Nathanson, Christopher Henderson, Charles Logan, Graem Bauer, Philip Bauer) then yes, I loved that.

Marwan wasn't the only villian for S4. Who can forget Marianne Taylor & the Araz's?

In my opinion, Second Wave was one of the best concepts, "24" ever came up with

I was impressed with Marwan's organization. The many years of planning and his dedication to see the "Plan" thru, till the end, consumed him to the point of taking his own life, without hesitation.

Mandy's role in his demise was brilliant. Her character injected into the ending was fitting. He never saw that coming until it was too late! :thumbup1:

Everytime,I'm asked to pick a favorite Season..I start with Season One...then I switch to Season 3.....Damn...Season 4 was the best! No...wait a minute! Season 5, won an Emmy Loved that one! Season 2? Rewatched that so many times, I almost know all the lines. (need a hacksaw.....don't want to get your hands dirty.....bottom of the food chain...everybody breaks.... Run, Sherry, Run!..etc )

I guess, that's why I love "24" so much. If you dissect every Season, it becomes more and more difficult to pick one!

It would be interesting to do a proper analysis of everything that happens in 24. I'm sure some professor somewhere is working hard on it.

I'll do so checking, but I'm sure, I read somewhere they are offering classes at some College about the Philosophy of "24" And there is a book out on the market, written by a couple of college professors addressing the TV Series.

Maybe you heard about all of this. ...your point being.."everything that happens in 24" I'd buy that book in a New York minute!

I'll start a new thread on these books in the main chat section. Just to make it easier to find. :)
