Just read that article. Its interesting but far too extreme, wouldnt you agree?

The only thing that made me raise an eyebrow so far (I'm two episodes in) was the speed at which Jack got back pretty much to his old self after so long in captivity. He did show signs of being deeply changed, and in extreme situations humans are capable of extreme things - I'd say a terrorist threat is pretty extreme!

As for all the torture yack that guy came out with, in the first two episodes Jack showed that he looks differently upon that. We'll see how it develops, but that article was a bit over the top.

Some of it was OTT but i do think now Jack is tending to cross the line more and more. I certanly felt he was more human in seasons 1 and more appochable(sp) then he is now.

I'll be honest -- 5 episodes in and I'm actually having serious doubts on where the series ended. I gave up soap operas because of contrite plots and now it looks like 24 is heading that way too.

LindaAnne your not alone in that opinion. Season 6 is shaping up to have some weird plots. Next thing we will know Chloe and Jack will be making out in CTU :(
