movie speculations

what do you think the movie will be about, i was talking to 20 a few days back about this and i want to ask what do you all speculate

i think maybe the film will be about getting revenge against the chinese jack and heller

There will never be a movie, IMO. They need to get a great plotline for S7 to redeem S6 before they go ANYWHERE past the small screen. They should do that, end the series and MAYBE THEN concentrate on a good movie script after that--maybe something that will tie together as many loose ends as possible from the series and end it well. But first things first--give us a really good season first.

I've read in a magazine they've already finished the script for the movie and they've began shooting now. Maybe they've spent more time on the script then Season 6..

they need to defintely redeem themselves before making a movie, me and aa are just wondering though what a movie storyline could be based on, in the chat i had with him

they cant have the real time element - a prequel would be good

I also heard it's going to take place in a day, but obviously wouldn't have the real time prequel. It's scheduled to come out in the summer after the 7th Season, so hopefully the 7th Season will redeem themselves.

Well they could do a prequel and sort of 'reverse engineer" some tie-ups to what became loose plotlines as they evolved over the years--sort of like "Memento"--show us what really happened before to give explanation to what happened later--scenes fom Jack as a teenager with Phil and Graham, scenes focused on Operation Nightall, only showing us stuff that even Jack doesn't know about (like who sold them out--I don't think we've ever found tht out). Maybe his first meeting with Nina, but WE get to see her communicating with her actual handlers before hand, that sort of thing first or through flashback, and end up post day 7 with Jack now in posession of all the info we saw beforehand, looking to resolve everything in his life by the climax. It could be done, and done well (assuming they concentrate on a good S7 first, as I said), as long as it doesn't become the "X-Files movie" ;-)

but then we know what happens to all the characters.. we know who isnt going to die so wont be as exciting.

BTW Call-of-Duty was right, they have finished the script, i havent heard that they have started shooting it yet though.

Finish the show?....when "24 is over and off the air?

Seems to me, we have a lot of conflicting stories out there, about the release of this movie.
