i think he is a great character and i didnt like him at first but he has grown on me the last few episodes

Doyle is not such a bad character and we actually needed a new face in the field

Curtis was an amazing character.. he just seemed like the right fit for the "right hand man" to Jack.

I think Doyle IS a cheap imitation of Jack, and I don't consider it a good thing in the least.

I like Doyle, he's shown some personality, he's not as much of a snake, and he's pretty loyal. He doesn't seem like an imitation of Jack to me, he's just a field agent. And to be honest, we needed that, since we didn't have many recognizable field agents to begin with.

dont like him.... think theres more to him than been exposed so far,but as i have mentioned before i just cant warm to him,not sure if the actor doesnt convince me or its just the way he is written but if he only lasts a season i wont shed a tear.

simply.. daniels got hold of CTU to give josh to phillip and CTU knows that it won't be easy since jack will not release josh whatsoever.. so CTU call doyle to distract jack

People are saying "Stupid Doyle" for taking Josh away, but honestly, what's he supposed to do? Disobey the President and let a war start?

I think he was a great addition to Season 6. Definitely was one of the more interesting characters this season.

yeah and it was good at the end how he had his eyes blown out, i felt sorry for him and i guess that means he wont be back, especially as theres no CTU..

I thought Doyle was great, I thought they were shaping him up to be the new Jack, Kiefer can't keep it up forever, but alas, his eyes were untimely gouged out by a bomb

I felt bad for him when he was caught in the explosion. He might be blind in both eyes, that would suck! I don't think we're going to see him come back.
