I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but I'm so excited I can't go through the forums to see if it's already there.

It costs 200$ so I'm still debating wheteher I want it or not, but it seems like a collector's item. What do you think? Buy or not to buy?

I am a real fan but $200,- ? for a book
on the other hand because there are only 1000 of them
they could really increase in value in time!!

Yup. I've been having second thought about it. It's very attractive, with the photos and all, but it's just too much for a book. Gonna give it a pass. Just hope I don't regret it after a couple of years when someone sells their book on eBay for a few thousand bucks. :(

Do you know the price of the normal version and where can you buy it online?

Around 20 bucks. And no signature. Or you can go here:

Either way, if it's just the content of the book, rather than the signature or hardcover, this paperback will do just fine. Happy reading. :)

Well, I love 24 and I love reading and collecting books, but I really think that one's just way too expensive. :( They're only selling it for so much because they're having a small number of the collectable edition printed. They can basically charge whatever they want. :( They know the 'die hards' will pay for that kind of a book too. The most expensive book I've ever bought (besides university textbooks) was a hardcover limited edition collectable with the whole Narnia series in it. It's one of the most beautiful books I've ever seen and the illustrations blew me away. At the time I bought it, it was running at just about $90, but I happened to work at the bookstore, and had a gift certificate so by the time it was all said and done, I wound up paying about $30 for it. If I didn't have the discount or gift certificate I wouldn't have spent the $90 though.
