Lost is an American serial drama television series that follows the present
and past lives of a group of plane crash survivors on a mysterious tropical island,
somewhere in the South Pacific.

The current executive producers are J.J. Abrams, Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse,
Jack Bender, Jeff Pinkner and Bryan Burk.
Because of its large ensemble cast and the cost of filming in Hawaii,
the series is one of the most expensive on television.

A critical and popular success, Lost garnered an average of 15.5 million
viewers per episode on ABC during its first year,
and won numerous industry awards including the Emmy Award
for outstanding drama series in 2005.

One of the best shows out there besides 24 naturally. I just love the suspense, action and the mystery. Sometimes I feel that they will drag the series out too long and just make it seem stupid towards the end.
Hpefully, they will think more about the story than the amount of episodes this time.

Fantastic show and that is after seeing only the first series! The second series began before I was hooked so I am hopefully going to treat myself to the box set at christmas and have a lost day over the festive period.

I loved this show but now im so bored of it. The last 6 episodes where lame. It was mostly about romance . They are not answering enough questions either. I still think season 1 lost tho rocks.

It's cool, I love it. I just saw s2 finale and it was awesome.

You should definitely watch it when you find time, you'll love it, especially s1.

Lost is an awesome program.

It can seem pretty dragged out, but that just adds to the suspense. Every episode answers atleast one question you've had but then so many more questions are raised that the suspense and tension levels never let up! I missed out on the end of season one and possibly the beginning of season two, but when I got the opportunity, I was straight back into it and it was like I'd never been away.

So good, kinda like the Dark Tower in many ways.

Jack and Sawyer and Locke are good solid characters aswell. But I love them all for different reasons. Each and every one plays a part. :)

i think losts quite boring now after 3 seasons its run its course, i mean the first two were good but this one is boring.and the thing that really annoys me bout lost is that it creates more questions without ever answering the existing one! thats so crap.

and theres meant to be more arnt there. and i hate the flash backs, which are sometimes mot even important-annoying stuff!

Come on Nina, Lost is pretty decent! I like the flash backs and everything else that goes into it. I would defend the point you made as well about it asking more and more questions without answering any... each episode there is atleast one question answered for us, except there are a multitude more raised at the same time.

Yeah annie, poor wee Charlie! I thought Desmonds episode t'other week was really good stuff. The deja-vu and all the rest that was going on, hes a cool old character is Des, sister!

Jacks episode was good aswell, I wonder where they're taking him and why they were all watching him and everything! The only thing I wish was different about Lost is that it would be on a different channel where there arent breaks.

Like how 24 started out on BBC 2 over here.

Its only into the third season.

It seems to be taking a while for them to get off the island or just die off, but you have to remember that there are strange things happening and that they've only been on the island for like two months!

i won't go too much into it, but i had my own theory of locke ending up "switching sides", as outrageous as it sounds. and desmond ends up dying (not in this season), sending charlie into a state of panic since he's been saving his life...sort of.

of course this could all change in a couple days :)

Wow ... talk about a show that is REALLY past its prime. I've tried to stay with the storyline this entire season, but its become quite apparent that even the producers have no earthly idea where the hell this plot is going.

"Lost" ratings have been slipping on ABC all season. And for good reason. Like many people, I've realized that I seriously don't give a crap about the bad-anime-style writing and this neverending loop of cryptic bull that's pretty much all the show's about now.

For me personally, I got about enough on my current "Lost" DVD to record another episode. So, if Wednesday's show and preview for next week don't show a drastic change in both style and direction, then screw it. I won't be starting another DVD, and I'm just gonna drop the show.

To think ... I used to classify "Lost" as being in the same league as "Heroes" and "24," the most exciting and cutting-edge shows on TV today. What a joke. Right now "Lost" is just a chore to watch. Like anyone except the hardcore fans even care about these repetitive flashback focus fillers that are getting the story absolutely nowhere fast.

Abrams and Lindelof, you guys have pretty much jumped the shark and dropped the ball completely. Don't try to cover it up. Looks like "Lost" is just another "Smallville" all over again. Another show that fails after just two seasons.

There's simply way too much in the world of TV, Movies, Video Games, Sports, etc. right now to waste time on a show full of bullcrap storylines like "Lost."

Eh, ABC's still good for Desperate Housewives and Power Rangers. And the occasional Grey's Anatomy.

Expose (with an acute on that) was a funny episode... powerlines... Paolo lies... paralysed... and was a nice distraction from Jack and co. I'm just trying to enjoy spending time with the characters, cos I know that the answers arent all gonna be revealed in one go. And I like alot of the characters, and the flashbacks of them are great.

The other week Sayid said about getting off the island, I'd forgot all about that. I'm happy enough having them all there doing their thing!

Back to back Jack on Sunday night is great TV watching. Lost/ 24 are far far superior to Heroes.

Watched it tonight. The woman that helped Kate was that the same woman at the beginning that Sawyer conned all that money out of.
Thought it was another brilliant episode. This season is brilliant like season 1 was like.

last night's episode was a just a little bit disappointing. the ending makes you look back and go "so the whole thing desmond was on about was for nothing really". although depending who that person was. it looked like that sanjaya guy from american idol :lol:
