When she first came onto the show, I couldn't stand her, and I was just waiting for the moment when she would die.
Over the last season though, I've come to really like her. The way she always seems so impatient and annoyed makes me laugh.
Especially when she goes to a bar to help Jack, and gets hit on by some drunk guy. She invites him over to sit with her, and zaps him!

I agree, tho I wonder if she will not go to much out of character.

no matter how good she looks this season guys, there is no need to worry about her going out of character am sure she will be same old Chloe under the dyed hair
with her personality disorder!
see i think already they are toning down her personality this year. She is the 1 calming down morris and Milo which i dont like.

Thanks! I was going to be sponsered by The John Robert Powers Modeling Agency, cuz I auditioned in May and got accepted, but it cost a lot and my mom couldn't afford it...we're getting off topic...anyways...Chloe: amazing. I like her relationship with Morris. Please know that I am only basing this on the last 2 episodes of season 5, the first four and last two episodes episodes of season 6...i have to wait for season 6 to come out on DVD... :( I've heard that Morris is a jerk, but I LOVE Carlo Rota, cuz he's sooo funny!
So, you've not watched Seasons 3 or 4?
Jorja White
08-05-2007, 01:50 AM
No, i have. I've watched all of seasons 3, 4, and 5...and I own season 5, but I haven't seen many with Morris, that's what I meant...
Ok. I wasn't certain. Chloe has been an interesting character from Season 3.

Probably should add for personal, that she is in a relationship with Morris (though I believe they remarry, according to an interview I saw with MRL. Here - http://www.nypost.com/video/?vxSiteId=0db7b365-a288-4708-857b-8bdb545cbd0f&vxChannel=NY%20Post&vxClipId=1458_183299&vxBitrate=300) and has an unborn baby. In the interview here she says she has a 1 year old, but since season seven hasn't started yet of course..

Chloe is indeed a "Kunumdrum" or conundrum.A puzzle or problem without a clear answer.
Her personality drives her fellow employees up the wall. But they have the highest respect for her knowledge. Jack cannot survive without her in his job. She is in search of love, but when it comes knocking at her door, she turns away from it....or pushes it away.
Mary Lynn is a fantastic actor. Her portrayal of Chloe makes you want to love and sympathize with her dilemma.
She makes very hurtful comments to the people around her. Poor Edgar! She raked Morris over the coals!
But she will allow Jack to "handle" her. Whatever he wants, she is there for him.
Jack and Chloe's relationship is also a Kunumdrum.

Definitely. She is worthy of more chat, as is her relationship with Jack (now that I know you didn't seriously think there might be romance there ). Maybe even some artwork, Sinnerman?
She is utterly loyal to Jack (I get the feeling Jack demands this of his workers), but I can't say that I had noticed his lack of appreciation until you pointed it out, Sinnerman. Do you suppose he buys her chocolates in between seasons? No, I don't think so, either. Men aren't really known for expressing appreciation, are they?
He does point a gun at her in season 3, where Tony has gone awol, and Jack is confused and doesn't know who to trust. Later on, there is a little more trust between them.
Every now and then, Chloe does her little 'if you ever want to talk, I'm here for you' thing. She does it to Jack, and (I think) Kim. Then at the end of season 5 Morris walks in and we don't know the story between them, except that they're obviously estranged and he is a right lech. Then, as she grieves for Edgar, he asks if she wants to talk. And she just sniffs and nods. And you get the feeling that, all that time since we first met her, she has just been dying for someone to ask her if she wants to talk. And no-one ever has. Until now. It's a touching little moment.
I wonder if Jack trusts her, or suspects she might be a deep cover mole like Nina? I also wonder what will become of her in season 7 - if this is months after season 6, as we have been told, she could still be pregnant. Few things will motivate Jack's chivalrous/protective reflexes more than a pregnant woman in danger...

So this helps us with the dating, if we are foolish enough to go down the maths route again! :)
Chloe is far too thin, and far too organised a person to have got to - say - 6 months pregnant without noticing. If she only found out on day 6, she was 2 months at most, I'd say.
Poor Mary-Lynn! Imagine knowing that you've got to get yourself back to your pre-pregnant weight and shape by a fixed time in order to film season 7!

Chocolates! LOL I'll bet, Jack doesn't even know, if Chloe likes chocolates! Men show their appreciation to each other in a very different way. A nod of the head, a generous handsake, a slap on the back. But this doesn't work, when they have to express their gratitude to a woman. Because woman, don't communicate their gratitude in the same fashion.
"24" will really disappoint me, if they resort to making Chloe into a mole. We have watched her evolve over many years....and nothing has ever came to my attention, indicating she would go in that direction.
I could accept Nina. Easy to trick us because it was only one season. But Chloe? Do you really think, Jack doesn't trust her? He put his life and that of Kim, in her safe keeping in Season Four.
But, she is the only one still living after the "Killing Season" Palmer, Tony and Michelle were all killed (*Tony..comes back) Maybe this is the the one piece of evidence, they can use, to make her into a mole later or at the end of the series. Now, I have to give this idea, a lot more thought!

Do you really think Jack trusts anyone?
Don't get me wrong, I don't want Chloe to be a mole. I just wonder what they will do with her next. We've watched her grow up really. Grow out of her Asperger's. She's more pleasant now, and less interesting to watch than when we first met her. What will they do next?
